Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk To Miss Fifth Straight Game Monday
Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk has been ruled out for Monday’s contest versus the Charlotte Hornets due to a hip ailment. Mykhailiuk’s absence will mark his fifth game in a row on the sidelines, further paving the way for Langston Galloway and Bruce Brown to see an expanded role on the wing. Mykhailiuk had been establishing himself as a legitimate cog in the rotation prior to his injury and in the post-Trade Deadline haze, figures to have a path at reestablishing himself. His next chance at taking the floor comes Wednesday against Orlando.

Svi Mykhailiuk Misses Monday's Game For Personal Reasons
Svi Mykhailiuk (personal) won't play on Monday versus Portland. He has been ruled out for personal reasons. Mykhailiuk has seen the court just five times since the beginning of last month, so he doesn't play a significant role for the team. Across the entire campaign, the 26-year-old has averaged 7.9 minutes in 20 games, scoring 2.8 points. Mykhailiuk might be missing a good opportunity to get some game practice, as the C's are overwhelming favorites for the contest, and the bench is looking at a chance to get extended minutes in a blowout situation.

Raptors Waive Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk
Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk. The 25-year-old has suited up for four teams since he was drafted in 2018 and has averaged 6.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists throughout his career. With that said, his fantasy value is non-existent, and it likely won't change if he finds work ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk Picks Up Player Option
Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk exercised his $1.9 million player option. After averaging 10.3 points in 2020-21 in OKC, the 25-year-old wasn't as effective for the Raptors last season, averaging just 4.6 points and shooting a rough 30.6% from behind the arc. He isn't expected to draw any fantasy interest for the 2022-23 campaign, primarily since he will probably continue to be a deep bench option for the team. While that could change if someone gets injured, it won't do much for his fantasy stock heading into October.

Gary Trent Jr. Ruled Out Tuesday, Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk To Start
Gary Trent Jr. (calf) will be unavailable for Tuesday's contest against Memphis, allowing Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk to remain among the starting five. Starting in place of Trent on Sunday, Mykhailiuk dropped 12 points and snagged eight rebounds across 38 minutes, an indication of the role that he could play Tuesday. The matchup is particularly tantalizing for Mykhailiuk's DFS prospects due to the Grizzlies' league-worst 39.6 opponents' three-point percentage. When healthy, Trent has been an early-season breakout star for Toronto, on pace to set a new career high at 17.3 points per game. His next chance to suit up comes Thursday vs. Milwaukee.
