Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews registered a goal and added a trio of assists as his team edged the visiting Anaheim Ducks 5-4 in overtime on Friday night. With his second four-point performance of the season, the 22-year-old also extended his personal point streak to six games - a span in which he's collected six goals and five assists. Matthews continues to be one of the hottest scorers in calendar year 2020, checking in with 20 points (13 goals, seven assists) in 14 games since January 1st. He's the leader of a high-flying Toronto attack (currently second in the NHL in goals-for-per-game) and is now tied for first in the entire NHL with Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin in goals (40). He should be a front-runner for the Maurice "Rocket" Richard trophy for the foreseeable future and will lace up the skates next versus the Canadiens on Saturday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller

Matthews finished without a goal despite having six shots on the net, and he was among the team leaders with four hits over 18:42 of action. While Matthews didn't find joy in front of the goal, he celebrated his 13th career multi-point effort in a playoff game, tying him for 10th on Toronto's all-time list. He now boasts 50 points (23 goals, 27 assists) in 56 games for his postseason career.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Matthews would find the back of the net on the power play in the opening frame. Over his past three contests, Matthews has found the back of the net four times, including three times on the power play. Before this stretch, the 27-year-old tallied 10 points over his last nine games, but only two of them were goals. However, during this stint, he averaged an impressive 4.1 shots on goal per game. Through 53 total games this season, Matthews has scored 27 goals and added 34 helpers while averaging 4.1 shots on goal per game. Fantasy managers should continue to view Matthews as a high-end option in all DFS competitions. He will look to extend this streak to four games on Thursday against the Rangers.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

He potted the team's third goal and landed an assist when William Nylander scored the game-winner with a minute played in the extra frame. With his 390th career goal, Matthews broke a tie for second with Darryl Sittler on Toronto's all-time goals list. He now trails only Mats Sundin (420).
