J.T. Miller Buries Two Goals In Monday's Win
5 years agoVancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller registered a pair of goals as his team defeated the visiting St. Louis Blues on Monday night. The 26-year-old found the back of the net twice in a nine-minute span in the middle frame and that was all the Canucks needed (aside from a empty net goal from center Bo Horvat) to conquer the reigning Stanley Cup Champs. As his fantasy owners have grown accustom to, Miller filled the scoresheet yet again in this one - also posting a plus-two rating, three shots, one hit and three blocks while leading all Canucks forwards with 19 minutes of ice time in the contest. Selected with the 15th overall pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Miller has finally blossomed into the top-line forward many envisioned him to become. With 48 points (19 goals, 29 assists), a plus-seven rating, 17 power-play points, 123 shots and 82 hits through 50 games, the Ohio native's cross-category production has earned him a top-50 ranking in nearly all fantasy formats. He'll take on the Sharks up next on Wednesday.
