Jeff McNeil Recovered From Broken Wrist
5 years agoNew York Mets infielder/outfielder Jeff McNeil (wrist) said his wrist is fully recovered after breaking it late last season. McNeil thinks that he will still play multiple positions like he did last year, but he imagines that he will play more third base than anything else in 2020. The 27-year-old (28 in April) hit a cool .318/.384/.531 with 23 home runs, 83 runs scored, 75 RBI and five stolen bases in 510 at-bats for the Mets last season. He spent 61 games in left field, 39 games in right field, 34 games at the keystone and 24 games at third base, but the hot corner has more of an opening with Todd Frazier leaving in free agency. McNeil provides a nice contact profile and plenty of positional eligibility to give fantasy owners flexibility with their daily rosters.
