BALLER MOVE: Add In 12-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 31% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Had I to tell, I'd say that Trevor Ariza's ownership will only go up and up during the next few days and weeks. Portland traded for the veteran just a few days ago and in his lone game with the franchise up to this writing, he already showed what he will bring to the table and how the Blazers plan to use him. Ariza was slotted into the starting lineup, played almost 36 minutes in his debut, finished with a great all-around 21-7-2-2 contribution, scored four triples and shot 63.6% overall from the floor.
While the usage rate in his first game as a Blazer wasn't overly magnificent (it was super low at 16.4%, actually), that has been Ariza all year long and it is not that he needs much more to rack up goodies. Portland has a lineup full of finishers (Lillard, McCollum, Melo...) but if all goes as it did a few days ago then Ariza can turn into a very valuable asset.
Consider adding him to your roster as soon as you can, as Portland will do everything to make it to the postseason and this trade might be then only move they end doing in order to improve their options. They won't balk on playing him anytime soon, so the minutes and the opportunities will be there, and with them, the fantasy rewards just on sheer volume.
