5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves power forward/center Karl-Anthony Towns provided an excellent line, and it came in just 28 minutes of action on Friday. Towns scored 30 points on 12 of 23 shooting and added 12 boards with three assists and two blocks. Towns took a hard fall and exited the game to feel it out with the trainer on the bench, only to return to action, but he definitely looked to be in pain. The Timberwolves could be cautious here, so owners need to keep their eyes peeled to see if Towns will miss some time, and if he does, it will be time to fire up Gorgui Dieng once again.--Gianni Costantiello
