Florida Panthers center Frank Vatrano finished with three goals, a plus-two rating and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-3 victory over the Blackhawks. The 25-year-old found the back of the net three times in the second period, giving the Panthers a three goal lead and bringing his season total up to 14 goals through 49 games. Vatrano is currently on a five-game point streak of five goals, four assists and nine points over that stretch. The center has produced 14 goals, 13 assists and 27 points on the season, making the bottom-six forward worth owning only in the deepest of fantasy formats moving forward.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller

Anaheim Ducks forward Frank Vatrano has inked a three-year, $18 million extension. Vatrano, who will turn 31 in March, is coming off a three-year, $10.95 million deal. The new contract will lock him up through the 2027-28 campaign. The American forward has been a late bloomer, posting his career-best year in 2023-24 with 60 points (37 goals, 23 assists) in 82 games. He has tallied 68 goals and 121 points in total with the Ducks across 200 games, with 341 hits. 20 of the points have come this campaign, with Vatrano registering nine goals and 11 assists in 37 appearances. Vatrano isn't a must-have player in fantasy hockey, but he offers plenty of value, combining his offensive ability with physicality.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Anaheim Ducks forward Frank Vatrano (personal) will be back in the lineup on Sunday versus Los Angeles. He missed Friday's matchup against Colorado due to the birth of his child. Vatrano was activated from the non-roster list on Saturday and will likely be reunited with Ryan Strome and Troy Terry on the third line. The trio has a lot of offensive upside, but they haven't quite clicked yet. Vatrano has recorded only one point in three games this season and hasn't found the back of the net, despite lighting the lamp 37 times last term.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Anaheim Ducks forward Frank Vatrano (personal) will not play against Colorado on Friday after he was added to the non-roster list. He will miss the contest to attend the birth of his third child. Vatrano was Anaheim's top scorer last season with 60 points (37 goals, 23 assists) in 82 games but is off to a quiet start in 2024-25. Through three games, Vatrano sits on zero goals and one assist. The team has recalled Jansen Harkins from the minors, and he could make his season debut in Friday's contest. Harkins has never been productive offensively at this level and should be ignored by fantasy managers.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Anaheim Ducks left wing Frank Vatrano scored two goals in Monday's 4-3 victory against the Sabres. Vatrano scored a pair of goals in under three minutes during the second period, while the 29-year-old established a personal career-high in goals for a single season with the multi-goal performance. Vatrano has scored in three consecutive games with six points over that span and carries season totals of 26 goals and 44 points through 55 games to lead the Ducks on the offensive end.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
