Aleksander Barkov Extends Point Streak To Five Games
5 years agoFlorida Panthers center Aleksander Barkov notched a goal and a power-play assist as his team captured a late 5-4 victory over the Minnesota Wild on Monday night. The Finnish native's pair of points extended his personal point streak to five games, a span in which he's posted eight points (three goals, five assists). Barkov, still just 24 years of age, is further showcasing that he's one of the game's most valuable assets in 2019-2020 - providing a lethal combination of elite scoring and stellar defensive play. With 53 points (16 goals, 37 assists), a plus-six rating, 18 power-play points and 130 shots on goal through 48 games, Barkov should unquestionably be considered a top-25 fantasy player at this point. He'll look to keep rolling in his last game ahead of the All-Star break versus the Blackhawks on Tuesday.
