Russell Wilson Falls Short In Comeback Attempt
5 years agoA rough first half left Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and his squad in a 21-3 hole as they came out from halftime. Wilson would then lead them on a fantastic charge back to bring the game to a five-point deficit, but an ugly dropped pass late in the fourth quarter left Seattle lacking. Wilson went 21-for-31 for 277 yards and a touchdown in the loss, but third-down struggles spelled doom for the underdogs. Wilson was also sacked five times, including on a couple critical downs like the team's two-point conversion attempt and their final third down of the night. Wilson has now been to the playoffs in six of his eight seasons, and he's won at least one playoff game in five of those six trips.
