Kyle Rudolph Has Some Tournament Appeal
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph caught four of seven targets for 31 yards and the game-winning touchdown in a 26-20 win over the Saints in the wild-card round. Backup Irv Smith Jr. didn't see a target in the game. The San Francisco 49ers Defense is stellar against tight ends and will be welcoming stud linebacker Kwon Alexander (pectoral) back into the fold. They have only allowed four tight ends to eclipse double-digit fantasy points this season and rank second in pass DVOA overall. Rudolph has seven touchdowns on the season and remains a favorite for quarterback Kirk Cousins at the goal line, but he'll need a touchdown to do damage in this contest. He's a tournament-only play in the Divisional Round for that reason, as he'll likely find yardage hard to come by.
