Pirates Agree With Guillermo Heredia
Guillermo Heredia on Thursday, according to sources. He was non-tendered by the Rays last month and is known as a strong defender and good clubhouse presence. That's not going to do much for fantasy owners, however. Heredia, 29 later this month, hit just .225/.306/.363 with five home runs and 20 RBI in 204 at-bats for Tampa before they let him go in 2019. He has a career slash line of .240/.317/.342 with 17 long balls, 75 RBI and six steals in four seasons with the Mariners and Rays. He might see decent playing time in Pittsburgh as a platoon guy, but you can ignore him in mixed leagues for 2020.

Guillermo Heredia Starting In Center Field On Tuesday
Guillermo Heredia will be making his first start in the NLDS in Game 4 on Tuesday. He's playing center field and batting eighth in the lineup. The Braves were forced to shuffle some things around after Jorge Soler was placed on the COVID-19 injured list following a positive COVID test. The Braves added outfielder Cristian Pache to their NLDS roster to fill Soler's spot and he could see some time in center field going forward. Heredia wasn't very productive at the plate this year. Over 120 games, he slashed .220/.311/.354 with five home runs, 26 RBI and 46 runs.
