Travis Homer Struggles In First Playoff Action
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Travis Homer gave everyone some excitement last week when it looked like he might be able to handle the primary role in the backfield for the Seahawks, but Sunday's game will make everyone think twice. Homer was held to just 12 rushing yards on 11 attempts, fumbled (and recovered it), and caught just one pass for five yards. Seattle's run game basically disappeared outside of Russell Wilson's scrambles, and it looks like Homer's opportunity may be over as quickly as it arrived. While Marshawn Lynch wasn't spectacular either, he was more effective than Homer and may see a bump in workload because of that.
