5 years agoThe Atlanta Braves have made a four-year offer to third baseman Josh Donaldson, according to a source with knowledge of the team's plans. The Nationals and Twins have also made four-year offers to Donaldson, so the former MVP will have his choice of the three clubs. The 34-year-old might prefer to re-sign with the Braves after rebounding to the tune of a .259/.379/.521 slash line, 37 home runs, 96 runs and 94 RBI in 549 at-bats with Atlanta in 2019. His age and injury history are question marks for fantasy owners, but he'll remain attractive in all leagues in 2020 no matter where he lands.
