Deebo Samuel Is A Yardage Monster
5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel secured five of five targets for 102 yards while adding two rushes for 33 yards and a touchdown in Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks. The electric rookie once again showed his versatility, scoring on a 30-yard run in the second quarter by shaking multiple Seahawks defenders down the sideline. Samuel was also a YAC monster in the pass game, moving chains all evening. He finishes the regular season with 57 catches for 802 yards, 159 rush yards and six touchdowns, highlighted by an eight-game stretch with 697 scrimmage yards to end the year. Even with the Niners offensive talent, Samuel has emerged as a consistent and trusted option. He’ll be an upside WR3 in the Divisional playoff round once the Niners emerge from their bye.
