Matt Ryan Is Trustworthy In Week 17
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan threw for 384 passing yards in Week 16, his second-highest yardage output of the season. This week, Ryan and the Falcons have a favorable matchup against a very vulnerable Buccaneers pass defense. Ryan should be able to top 300 yards once again in the game, however his upside would take a hit if Julio Jones (knee) ends up missing the game. Jones, who is currently questionable for the game, has accounted for 300 of Ryan's 594 passing yards over the past two weeks. Ryan's weapons are much less inspiring without Jones, but he's found ways to produce strong fantasy weeks without much production from Jones in the past so he can be started either way, even though he's certainly less attractive without Jones.
