5 years agoColorado Avalanche goaltender Pavel Francouz snagged his 10th victory of the season on Wednesday, shutting down the Chicago Blackhawks 4-1. The rookie netminder carried his fantastic play as of late throughout the entire 60 minutes in this one - allowing just one goal on 32 shots against in the contest. Despite starting goaltender Philipp Grubauer returning to full health last week, Francouz is giving the Avalanche no choice but to continue to ride the hot hand in net - posting a ridiculous 1.74 goals-against average and a .948 save percentage in six December starts. On top of that, Francouz now boasts 10 wins, a 2.16 GAA and a .934 SVP in 15 total appearances on the campaign.
