Devonta Freeman Is An RB2 Option In Week 16
5 years agoIt hasn't been pretty for Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman this year, but he's still managed to deliver decent value through his workload alone. Freeman is averaging just 3.6 yards per carry this year and is yet to top 90 rushing yards in a game. However, he's a lock for double-digit carries on a weekly basis and he has 48 receptions on the year. This week, Freeman faces a Jacksonville rushing defense that allows the fourth-most rushing yards per game in the league. While it's unlikely Freeman will flourish in the favorable matchup, it does give him a safer floor for the day. Expect Freeman to flirt with 100 total yards in Week 16, making him a viable option as a low-end RB2 or a great flex. His value is slightly higher in PPR than in non-PPR.
