Dalvin Cook Unlikely To Play In Week 16
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (shoulder) appears unlikely to play in Week 16, according to recent reports. Cook has played in all 14 games so far this year but suffered his shoulder injury in Week 15 and couldn't finish the game. He has 1,135 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns this year. Cook's backup, Alexander Mattison (ankle), is also nursing an injury and is questionable for Week 16, though he may be trending towards probable. If Mattison plays, he's a fantastic start for Week 16. The team's No. 3 back, Mike Boone, is also someone worth keeping an eye on. Boone would be an RB2 if Mattison sits and a potential flex play if Mattison is active.
