New Jersey Devils right wing Kyle Palmieri made sure that the team would start the post-Taylor Hall era with a win, scoring the decisive goal on a power play in Wednesday's 3-1 victory over Anaheim. Nico Hischier and Sami Vatanen also scored for the Devils, who have now won back-to-back games for only the fourth time this season. Palmieri has scored in both of the recent wins, taking his tally for the season up to 13 goals and 21 points. It's been a tough ride on this struggling Devils team, but Palmieri has played an effective game all year, posting a team-best plus-four rating. He'll try and extend his goal-scoring streak to three games on Friday against Washington.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
