Josh Jacobs Eclipses 100 Total Yards In Loss
5 years agoOakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs entered the game questionable with a fractured shoulder, but showed no ill effects by totaling 109 scrimmage yards. He picked up 89 yards on the ground and added a pair of receptions for 20 yards as the team fell 20-16 to the Jaguars in a devastating home loss. The rookie dominated backfield touches once again, handling 24 carries to Deandre Washington's six, but was unable to break out for a gain longer than nine yards. With the loss, the Raiders have been eliminated from playoff contention, so it'll be intriguing to see if they strut out their stud RB with nothing to play for in Week 16. If Jacobs is active next week, he'll be a solid RB2 play versus the Chargers who he touched up for 101 yards against in Week 10.
