5 years agoNew York Giants kicker Aldrick Rosas made both of his extra points and his only field goal attempt in Monday's loss to the Eagles. As with most games this season, Rosas' fantasy value is limited by his mediocre offense. The Giants simply don't get the ball into scoring position enough for him to be a fantasy-viable kicker, even next week against the Dolphins.--Eric Samulski

3 years agoThe Detroit Lions re-signed veteran kicker Aldrick Rosas to a Reserve/Future contract on Tuesday. Rosas took over as Detroit's kicker in 2021 when they moved on from Austin Seibert, but Riley Patterson finished out the season as the team's placekicker. The 27-year-old Rosas and Patterson could be in a competition for the starting job in training camp this summer. In five games with the Lions and New Orleans Saints last year, Rosas made just two of his five field-goal attempts and made all 14 of his extra-point tries. Rosas played in just one game for Detroit in Week 11, making his only field-goal try and only extra point. Fantasy managers will want to avoid the Lions kicking situation in 2022 drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
