Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon enjoyed another fruitful night on Wednesday, finishing a 3-1 road win against Toronto with two points, extending his goal-scoring streak to five games in the process. MacKinnon produced the game's opening goal on a power-play before combining with Matt Calvert to set up Joonas Donskoi for an empty-netter. Mikko Rantanen, who returned to action with a four-point game at the weekend, tallied a power-play assist in Wednesday's win. MacKinnon now has 44 points for the season and 24 of them have come in his last 12 appearances. It's been an incredible run, and things might get even better as soon as Thursday, with Colorado taking on the Canadiens and their suspect defense.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
