5 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Darwin Thompson wasn't expected to see much action in this one despite Damien Williams (ribs) sitting out. Veteran LeSean McCoy and Darrel Williams were expected to carry the load in the backfield. Unfortunately, Williams left during the second half due to a hamstring issue Thompson came in and carried the ball 11 times for 44 yards and a touchdown in the Week 13 victory over Oakland. He could be in for a big role next week with the Chiefs' backfield banged up. However, he has a tough matchup versus the Patriots. It was a nice performance, but fantasy owners shouldn't bother taking a look at Thompson right now.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
