Eagles Promote Josh Perkins To Active Roster
5 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles promoted tight end Josh Perkins from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday. They also activated cornerback Cre'Von LeBlanc from Injured Reserve and waived defensive tackle Albert Huggins. Perkins' promotion could be a sign that tight end Zach Ertz (hamstring), who is questionable for Week 13 against the Dolphins, won't play on Sunday. Ertz is a top-three tight end if active, but his owners must prepare for the possibility that he won't play. Dallas Goedert would be a strong TE1 option if Ertz sits out. Perkins caught five passes for 67 yards in nine games for Philly in 2018, but he won't be fantasy relevant if Ertz is inactive.
