Josh Jacobs An RB1 Versus Chiefs
5 years agoOakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs is in a smash spot for this week's matchup versus the Kansas City Chiefs. When these two teams met in Week 2, the rookie compiled 99 yards on 12 carries (8.25 YPC) in a game that Oakland fell from behind early and was forced to throw the ball more. Expect the Raiders to run the ball aggressively in this contest versus a defense that has allowed the third-most rushing yards against (143.1 YPG), and the most fantasy points given up to the RB spot. In their most pivotal game of the season, the path to victory revolves around Jacobs rushing the ball and keeping the ball away from Patrick Mahomes. He will undoubtedly see plenty of carries as long as they don't fall behind too early, so chalk the 21-year-old up as a high-volume RB1 for Week 13.
