Frank Gore Is Too Risky To Start In Week 13
5 years agoBuffalo Bills running back Frank Gore received 15 carries in Week 12 against the Broncos and gained 65 yards on the ground. Both the carries and rushing yards were the most Gore has accumulated in a game since Week 4. Rookie running back Devin Singletary was the star of Week 12 with 106 yards on 21 carries, but Gore's workload and output was evidence that he's clearly going to remain heavily involved at least for now. This week, the Bills face the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The game should be low-scoring and the Bills will be running a lot. Gore could see double-digit carries again, but it's tough to bank on him topping 60 yards for the second-straight week. He's also not a factor in the passing game and hasn't scored since Week 3. He's worthy of a roster spot in the deepest of leagues but he's not a solid starting option this week.
