Matt Ryan A Low-End QB1 In Week 13
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan had a rough game in Week 12 against the Buccaneers. He was sacked six times in the game, had a season-low completion percentage of 50% and failed to score a touchdown. This week, Ryan faces the Saints, who he played just three weeks ago. In his last matchup against the Saints, he managed just 182 passing yards, though he did throw two touchdown passes. Ryan's weapons are struggling to stay on the field. The team might get Devonta Freeman (foot) back this week, but they are likely still going to be without tight end Austin Hooper (knee). Meanwhile, star receiver Julio Jones (shoulder) is yet to practice this week and trending in the wrong direction. Ryan is a bit of a risky start this week, but he still maintains QB1 upside, so he's a viable starting option as a low-end QB1.
