Eric Ebron Heads To Injured Reserve
5 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron is seeing his quiet season come to a close on Monday morning after it was announced that he would be placed on Injured Reserve with a pair of ankle injuries. Ebron finished the year with 31 catches for 375 yards and three touchdowns. Ebron was in a contract year, so this could loom large for him heading into the offseason. Fellow tight end Jack Doyle is going to see his stock steadily rise with the absence of Ebron. Outside of Week 11, he's seen at least two targets and caught at least one ball in every game. Doyle still doesn't have the athleticism or touchdown skills that Ebron possesses, but he does give you a consistent floor every week.
