Jacob Hollister Overthrown On TD Chance
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks tight end Jacob Hollister finally posted what appears to be a forgettable game by looking at the box score, but he was robbed by a horrific throw by Russell Wilson. In the wet, windy conditions in Philly, Hollister was somehow completely unnoticed by the defense on a 10-yard pass play in the end zone. Wilson was completely free of defenders, Hollister didn't have a green shirt within 10 yards of him, and Wilson promptly lobbed the ball 15 or more feet over Hollister's head. The slipped pass was obviously a shock to everyone, and it was a clear example of how flukes can destroy a fantasy day. Hollister instead ended up with just 22 receiving yards on two catches and no scores. Expect him to get more chances next week.
