Russell Wilson Wins Again In Philly
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson certainly didn't have the best game of his career, but he did enough to bring home another W on the road. Seattle remains unbeaten on the road after topping the Eagles 17-9 on Sunday. Wilson only completed 13 of his 25 passes for 200 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, but his stat line was greatly hindered by the weather. Wilson missed an unbelievably wide open Jacob Hollister in the end zone when he launched a 10-yard throw about 15 feet over Hollister's head, and D.K. Metcalf dropped a pass that hit him squarely in both hands. The wet, windy conditions helped bring about the win as the defense picked off two passes and snatched up three fumbles from the Eagles, but they hurt Russ's fantasy stats. Expect another tough matchup for the QB next Monday night when he welcomes the Vikings into town.
