Darius Slayton Remains Effective With Shepard Back
5 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton remained a large part of the Giants offense even with Sterling Shepard (concussion) back. Slayton was tied for second on the team with seven targets, catching four of them for 67 yards. The eventual return of Evan Engram will likely take another chunk out of Slayton's targets, but the rookie has remained a favorite target of Daniel Jones. He's still more of a deep-league option since he will likely only see around five targets a game, but it seems as though he'll remain a part of the gameplan. If Engram comes back next week, Slayton should be a WR4.
