Diontae Johnson Slated To Play Against Bengals
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson (concussion) did not carry an injury designation after Friday's practice and will likely be cleared to play against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12. Johnson took a helmet-to-helmet hit in last week's loss and was forced from the game with blood coming out of his ear. Barring not passing the league's concussion protocol, Johnson should be in line for a solid workload on Sunday since JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion, knee) will be out. Over his last two games, he has just six catches for 81 yards, so he's nothing more than a touchdown-dependent WR5 in Week 12.
