Ja Morant Scores 20 Points Against Warriors
5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies rookie guard JA Morant scored 20 points with six assists, two rebounds, one triple, a steal, and a block in a 114-95 loss to the Golden State Warriors. The rookie struggled a bit from the field, needing 20 shots to get to 20 points. Still, his ability to stuff the stat sheet should give him a solid floor most nights, as it did tonight. He's arguably been the league's most impressive rookie and should continue to be a solid fantasy player moving forward. He leads all rookies in points and assists. Morant and Memphis next play on Saturday against the Los Angeles Lakers, who have stifled opponents into 42.3 percent shooting from the field, third in the NBA.
