BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 18% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Miami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki had a rough game in Week 11 against the Bills. He was targeted six times in the game, which is good to see, but he managed to gain just 18 yards on the day, despite catching four of his six targets.
In spite of the lackluster production, Gesicki has value because he has earned exactly six targets in three straight games now. He is establishing himself as a key cog in the Dolphins' passing game and while it's certainly an underwhelming passing game, his high usage is something that shouldn't be ignored.
Gesicki is worthy of an add in leagues of 14 or more teams for any owners in need of tight end help down the stretch. He's particularly attractive in PPR leagues as he'll offer a safer floor in the format. He has a favorable matchup against the Browns in Week 12 and will be a viable option as a low-end TE1 in most leagues, especially with Travis Kelce, Hunter Henry and Kyle Rudolph on bye.
