BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 2% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Before Sunday afternoon, Colts running back Jonathan Williams was hardly on anyone's radar. Tomorrow, he's about to be one of the most added players in fantasy.
Starting running back Marlon Mack was running well, and he averaged over seven yards per carry. He left with a hand injury, and Williams picked right up where he left off. He finished the game with 13 carries for 116 yards. Mack (hand) has already been ruled out for Thursday's game with the Houston Texans, and they just got gashed on the ground by the Baltimore Ravens. Williams will likely be the lead back for that game at a minimum.
Mack's fractured hand could keep him out for multiple weeks, and, while Williams won't be a workhorse back with over 25 carries, he'll get a considerable workload on the ground. He also caught his lone target for 31 yards, which gave him two plays for over 30 yards on the day, as he had a 48-yard run. This late in the season, you're hoping to get any production you can off of the waiver wire, and Williams will give you that.
