BALLER MOVE: Add In 12-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 31% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Toronto Raptors power forward/center Chris Boucher has seen his playing time increase greatly since the team lost Serge Ibaka (ankle) about a week ago. Ibaka doesn't have a timetable for his return and could potentially miss extended time.
Boucher has an attractive skillset. He can protect the rim, as evidenced by his six blocks in four games without Ibaka, and he can also knock down an outside shot. He's hit four of his 13 attempts from three so far this year (30.8%).
After playing around five minutes per game to start the season, Boucher has seen his minutes extend to around 20 per game with Ibaka out. That's allowed him to put up some solid defensive numbers to go along with some rebounds, points and threes. In four games without Ibaka, Boucher is averaging a shade under nine points per game, just under six rebounds per game and 1.5 blocks per game to go along with exactly one steal and one three.
He's a must-add in leagues of 12 teams or deeper. Consistent blocks are hard to find and Boucher should average over one per game for as long as he's seeing 20 minutes per game. Plus, he should contribute modestly in threes, steals and rebounds as well.
