5 years agoMatt Kuchar is set to defend his Mayakoba Classic title in Mexico this week. Kuchar led wire-to-wire en route to the victory at El Camaleon Golf Club last year in a dominant performance. Unfortunately, Kuchar later became embroiled in a PR nightmare after massively underpaying the local caddie he used during the win. It's fair to wonder if that controversy will be a source of distraction for Kuchar this week. He returns to Mexico in ice-cold form after a lengthy layoff. His last start was a missed cut on the Euro Tour in early September.
