BALLER MOVE: Add In 12-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 16% of leagues
ANALYSIS: After a shaky first couple weeks of the season, Detroit Pistons shooting guard Bruce Brown Jr. has started to come on of late. Over a three-game stretch from November 2 to November 6, Brown compiled 20 assists, five steals and three blocks while averaging exactly 15 points per game.
A good amount of his success has been due to the Pistons' increasing amount of injuries. Derrick Rose (hamstring) missed all three of Brown's big games, Reggie Jackson (back) has been out since the season's opening week and Blake Griffin (knee) has yet to suit up for a game this year. Both Rose and Griffin appear on the verge of returning to the court relatively soon while Jackson likely still has a few more weeks.
In the short term, Brown should be a very valuable contributor for assists and steals and he should average between 12 and 15 points per game as well. Once the team is back at full strength, he could still have value in deep bench leagues of 12 or more teams, but his upside will be limited. For now, add him in leagues of 12 teams or more and ride him while he's hot and getting the minutes.
