5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler has more than proven that he can be a huge playmaker when the ball is in his hands, but with Melvin Gordon back to his full form and the bevy of offensive weapons that surround Ekeler, getting the ball into his hands will be the real challenge. Since Gordon's return, Ekeler has seen his usage drop precipitously, and there's no reason to think that will change moving forward. The only sign of hope for Ekeler is that he's electric when catching passes out of the backfield, and Oakland happens to struggle against those plays. Unfortunately, betting on a long shot like that is risky, at best, so fantasy owners should keep their expectations in check this week but hope for the best.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
