Devonta Freeman A Low-End RB2 For Week 10
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman faces one of the league's top run defenses in Week 10, which isn't good news considering Freeman has struggled mightily running the ball this year. Freeman has averaged 3.4 yards per carry on the season and has only topped 40 rushing yards twice in eight games. The Saints allow about 84 rushing yards per game, the fourth-lowest mark in the league. Freeman should continue struggling running the ball, but his fantasy day will likely be saved through the air. He has been very active in the passing game all year with 35 catches on 40 targets. The team expects to have starting quarterback Matt Ryan (ankle) back this week, which should only help Freeman's chances. Expect him to total between 80 and 100 total yards with a chance to score, making him a low-end RB2 option for most leagues, better in PPR.
