Sterling Shepard Getting More Tests
5 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (concussion) was sent to Pittsburgh to be evaluated further due to his recent concussions. Shepard was cleared from the concussion protocol late last week but then had a setback on Saturday and was ruled out in Week 9. He hasn't played since Oct. 6 and there remains no timetable for his return after he's already suffered two separate concussions on the season. Golden Tate has become a strong WR2 with Shepard ailing, and Darius Slayton will have some deep league and DFS flex appeal in Week 10 in a juicy matchup with the Jets, especially if tight end Evan Engram (foot) can't play.
