The Tennessee Titans placed cornerback Malcolm Butler (wrist) on the Injured Reserve on Tuesday, ending his season. Cornerback Tye Smith was re-signed in a corresponding move. LeShaun Sims will have a more prominent role in the secondary the rest of the year after being the No. 4 corner behind Butler, Logan Ryan and Adoree' Jackson. Butler, who was signed to a five-year, $61 million deal in March of 2018, had 32 total tackles and two interceptions this year. His loss will be felt in the secondary.
