Jalen Richard Leads Team In Receiving Against Lions
5 years agoOakland Raiders running back Jalen Richard received his largest workload of the season Sunday, catching three passes for a team-high 56 yards versus the Lions. He added two carries for 12 yards as he spelled off Josh Jacobs for a few plays in the third quarter. Richard was needed a bit more than usual with the fast-paced nature of this contest, marking the first time he's eclipsed more than 32 scrimmage yards all season. With the new weapons added to the offense this season, the 26-year-old has been squeezed out of playing time and can remain off the fantasy radar. Richard will remain in a backup role this Thursday when the Chargers come to town to play in prime time.
