Mark Andrews Still A Starting Option In Unfavorable Matchup
5 years agoBaltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has fantasy owners cautious going into a Week 9 matchup against the top-ranked Patriots Defense. Andrews only recorded two receptions for 39 yards in Week 7 against the Seahawks, but was targeted eight times. Andrews hasn't been targeted less than seven times in a game this season, but faces a Patriots defense that has held opposing tight ends to an average of two receptions and 13 yards a game. New England has allowed only one touchdown to an opposing TE in 2019. Even with Marquise Brown expected to come back from an ankle injury Sunday, Andrews remains Lamar Jackson's favorite target, making him a low-end starting option in Week 9.
