DeSean Jackson, Darren Sproles Return To Practice
5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson (abdomen) and running back Darren Sproles (quadriceps) both returned to the practice field on Wednesday. Jackson has been out since getting injured in Week 2, but he has a chance to suit up in Week 9 against the Bears, although the Eagles could play it safe and hold him out one more week with the team's bye coming in Week 10. If Jackson returns, he'll give the Eagles offense the much-needed deep threat they've been lacking in his absence. He'd be a boom-or-bust WR3 in a tough matchup. Jackson's absence would also push Mack Hollins out of three-wide sets. Sproles has been out since Oct. 6. The 36-year-old isn't much of a factor anymore, but he could be an RB3/flex in deep PPR leagues if rookie Miles Sanders (shoulder) doesn't play this weekend.
