P.J. Tucker Hits Five Three-Pointers On Monday
5 years agoHouston Rockets forward P.J. Tucker played a season-low 33 minutes on Monday night but was still incredibly effective in his team's 116-112 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tucker had 17 points and nine rebounds while hitting six of nine shots from the field and going 5-for-7 from deep. He has scored at least 16 points in all three games this season and the fact that 33 minutes is a season low shows that Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni is going to play him as much as Tucker's 34-year-old body can take. Tucker is already exceeding expectations for any of the fantasy owners that drafted him, and his ownership percentage should begin to skyrocket in the coming days. Unless another forward magically appears on Houston's roster, expect Tucker to continue this incredible workload and production for the foreseeable future.
