BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 11% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Chicago Bears wide receiver Anthony Miller led the team in receiving yards in Week 8 against the Chargers, catching all three of his targets for 67 yards. After a slow start to the season, he has now topped 50 receiving yards in three straight games.
Miller was on fantasy radars all year last year as a rookie, when he caught seven touchdown passes. While the team's offensive personnel has remained the same for the most part this year, Miller has struggled to produce like he did last year. However, recent trends are suggesting that he might be on the verge of breaking out.
Miller has caught 12 passes on 19 targets the past three weeks after earning a total of just eight targets through the first four games of the year. The Bears are clearly trying to get him more involved and he's delivered so far. While the Bears have struggled offensively this year, in large part due to shaky play from quarterback Mitch Trubisky, the team has four-straight upcoming matchups against generous pass defenses: the Eagles, Lions, Rams and Giants.
Fantasy owners in leagues of 14 teams or deeper who are in need of wide receiver help should prioritize Miller as he could be worthy of starting as a WR3 or flex in the coming weeks. He also has upside to become a potential must-start in deep PPR leagues if his involvement in the offense continues to grow.
