Tevin Coleman Hits The Quadfecta
5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Tevin Coleman rushed 11 times for 105 yards and three touchdowns, adding two catches for 13 yards and another score in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Rams. Coleman and the Niners offensive line gutted the Panthers all day, highlighted by a 48-yard house call to close out the second quarter. Coleman’s volume has provided him backend RB1 status since returning from injury in Week 5 and he finally cashed in with a monster performance. Despite an injury to Matt Breida (ankle), Coleman’s workload won’t increase substantially as the team will keep employing its structural committee. But behind the game’s most dominant run game, Coleman is an RB1 in Week 9 against a soft Arizona Cardinals rush defense.
