Dwayne Haskins Picked Off In Scoreless Relief Effort
Dwayne Haskins took the helm when Case Keenum went down with a concussion on Thursday night. He didn't get to do much, attempting just five passes. Unfortunately, one of those was intercepted deep in Minnesota territory in what was a one-score game at the time. With an extra few days until their next game, the Redskins will have ample time to figure out whether Keenum is ready to go. If he is, Haskins certainly did not give the coaching staff any reason not to let Keenum keep his job.

Steelers Place Tender On Dwayne Haskins
Dwayne Haskins, according to a source. Haskins will make $2.54 million on the tender this season. The Steelers were always expected to bring Haskins back, especially after Ben Roethlisberger retired. Pittsburgh picked Haskins up after he was released by the Washington Commanders, but he didn't play at all in 2021. The former first-round pick are looking at all options at the position heading into next season, but as of right now, Haskins and Mason Rudolph are projected to compete for the starting job in training camp. Even if the 24-year-old wins the job over Rudolph, he won't be a very attractive fantasy option, even in two-QB leagues.

Steelers Plan To Tender Dwayne Haskins
Dwayne Haskins. "Dwayne will be a restricted free agent, and I'm sure we'll decide to tender him at some point. So we have Dwayne and we have Mason," Colbert said. The tender they put on him is unlikely to be a high one, which will allow them to hang onto the former first-rounder for cheap. The Steelers are likely to add another QB either through free agency, a trade or the draft, but Haskins and Mason Rudolph are expected to compete for the starting job this summer. Haskins lasted just 16 games with the Washington Commanders before being released in 2020. He has a big arm but proved to be slow with his decisions and inaccurate.

Mason Rudolph, Dwayne Haskins Expected To Compete In 2022
Ben Roethlisberger acknowledging already that this is his final season, the Steelers will head into the offseason knowing that they need a franchise QB. Outgoing general manager Kevin Colbert, who is expected to retire after April's draft, has traded a first-round pick for a player just one time, and he's traded up into the first round just three times since 2000. It makes it unlikely that Pittsburgh would trade multiple first-rounders for Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson, according to one source. Mason Rudolph and Dwayne Haskins are expected to be able to compete for the starting job in 2022, with the team also likely to add a QB in the draft, perhaps Pitt's Kenny Pickett. Rudolph figures to have a leg up in the competition, but Haskins is a former first-rounder that has caught the eye of head coach Mike Tomlin.
