Sterling Shepard Ruled Out For Week 8
5 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (concussion) was limited in practice again on Thursday, but he will not play in Week 8 against the Lions. Shepard has already suffered two concussions this year, so the Giants are playing it really safe with him. He's been out since Oct. 6 against the Vikings. Golden Tate should remain quarterback Daniel Jones' favorite target in the passing game in a good matchup this weekend, making him a strong WR3 in PPR leagues with WR2 upside. Darius Slayton should also have a more productive game and is worth flex consideration in DFS and deeper leagues.
